I just finished listening to the last CD in the
COMPLEAT PARENT series and I just had to stop and tell you thank you for
making these available for people like me who have not been able to attend
your seminars. Many a tear fell while I listened and I felt blessed to
listen to your words of wisdom. Thank you for sharing your experiences with
us so we don't feel we are the only ones who have problems. FT

A friend attended your COMPLEAT PARENT
SEMINAR and was so impressed she loaned me her book. I took notes on
what I read for personal use. Then she gave me my own copy of the book
which I read at least three times. I started using your positive
methods with Melanie. Melanie responded wonderfully and is still a very
positive person.
The use of I-message and being
positive instead of being negative has formed Melanie's character for
the positive. I never used the word "No." I either shook my head, or
as you said in the book, diverted her attention. It worked every time.
Melanie never went through the "NO" stage and that was a blessing. I
thank God for THE COMPLEAT PARENT. I recommend it to any and every
parent who wants peace in their home because children can be trained to
be more positive.
Melanie recognized the methods and
as she grew to be 6 or 7 she'd refer to the book if we'd slip. She
appreciated being treated as a valuable person even at a young age. I
tell everyone I raised my daughter the COMPLEAT PARENT way! Melanie is
a beautiful Christian teenager today and still responds to a positive
approach. The COMPLEAT PARENT way is the only way to raise a child!
